"Mona was born to be an artist.
Surrounded by horses, cows, forests, meadows, huts, pebbles and flowers – she lives in a world of her own. In her childhood she was already „unconventional“ and took an early liking to the pencil, brush and clay. She told everyone „I’m not working, I am playing.“ Whilst exposing her work she was always curious to see what others thought about it. Her style is varied and exhibits flexibility and is also full of imagination and sensitivity to beauty in life.
Harmony, balance, character and sweetness are her key words in description. Her work ows admiration to the Impressionist, making her art rich in technical, varied brush strokes and the use of warm colours. One discovers oil painting that demonstrates a profound love of Provence: sheep, shepherds, trees and blue skies."
